Hello, I'm Peter Oyebanji,

A technical writer with the conviction that documentation (and extensively, content) is fundamental to the success of any user-involving exercise. I enjoy creating technical documents, streamlining processes, and optimizing usability. I have significant experience documenting for software and IT firms.

Projects

Multipass Tutorial Canonical Ubuntu

I recreated Canonical's tutorial explaining how to use Multipass for Windows, macOS, and Linux users. I ensured that the document adhered to both the Canonical documentation style guide and the general documentation standards. You can find the accepted pull request here.

Git Workflow Automation GitHub

I created a Shell script that automates Git operations on the command line. The interactive script automates upstream syncing, branch creation, staging of changes, and committing. It is well-documented with both a README that serves as a user guide and in-code documentation that walks users through each step, ensuring an engaging experience for both technical and non-technical users.

Jira Process Document GitHub

I created an internal process document detailing how I would document a new Jira software feature if I were tasked to. I implemented a combination of Atlassian's internal documentation guidelines and general standards. I created this using GitHub Flavored Markdown.

TiDB Open-source Contribution GitHub

I contributed to TiDB documentation by fixing two issues. I enriched the descriptions of 4 SQL string functions, including adding examples that illustrate how these functions work. This contribution is currently live on the PingCap documentation site.

SleekBio User Guide Google Docs

I created a user guide illustrating how to use SleekBio. I created this using Google Docs and i followed the Google developer documentation style guide.
